We are facilitators of technological development in the institution and a dynamic element in supporting research, focusing our efforts on improving quality in education by the renewal of the technological resources and implementation of educational support tools.

 

Objectives

  • Maintain adequate resource allocation and guarantee the management, protection, recovery and rebuilding of information
  • Maintain programs and spread the use of new technology
  • Design plans for training in the administrative and academic areas that promote the use of new technology
  • Define and establish the best technical support processes
  • Permanently research technology that improves the educational quality of the institution
  • Build alliances with suppliers to benefit the institution
  • Define and establish rules of use and access to information resources
  • Define policies and plans for investment in technological resources geared towards institutional needs

Telecommunications Platform  
CESA has 321 computers for its 1,170 students in undergraduate and graduate distributed in:

  • The Bloomberg Reference Center with 12 computers
  • 7 computer training classrooms
  • 11 private rooms attached to the library to work in groups
  • 1 newspaper reading room with 10 database computers
  • 35 classrooms with computers and multimedia equipment
  • 3 Presentation rooms with computers and multimedia equipment
  • Wireless networks in public space and high traffic areas
